On April 21 and 22, the Energyear Mediterranea was held in Madrid, bringing together the main executives of the current energy sector. Vicente Jorro, Agere’s founding partner, moderated the panel on auctions in Spain. In this, he was accompanied by great professionals such as Gregorio Mednik (Capital Energy), Fernando Mico (BAS Corporation), Ignacio de Oñate (IBVogt) and Juan Antonio Blanco (Falck Renewables). All of them shared their extensive experience in the sector, talking about topical issues such as the future of auctions in Spain, risks and strategies carried out, the possibility of including new technologies or the creation of a capacity market in the Spanish electricity system. It was a great opportunity to add value and meet again with all colleagues in the sector.
